Kindergarten Math Printables (Free, Ages 5 to 6)
Counting, number writing, addition, subtraction and patterns for kindergarten, as free worksheets you make yourself and free math workbooks.
What kindergarten math covers
In kindergarten, children learn that a number tells how many. They count to 100 by ones and tens, write the numbers 0 to 20, compare groups, and begin to add and take away with pictures. Standards differ from state to state, so use the lists below as a menu and match them to what your child’s class is doing.

Frequently asked questions
What math should a kindergartener know?
It depends on the state, but most kindergarten standards ask children to count to 100 by ones and tens, write the numbers 0 to 20, compare groups of objects, and add and subtract with pictures within 10. Check your own school or state standards for the exact list.
How do I make a kindergarten math worksheet?
Open one of the free tools on this page, choose the number range or the kind of problems, and press the button to see the worksheet. Every setting can be changed before you print, and you can save the page as a PDF.
Are these kindergarten math printables free?
Yes. The worksheet tools and the math workbooks are free for home and classroom use, with no sign-up needed. Please do not sell the worksheets or post them on another site as your own.
